Determining how many monthly mobile searches are done for a local business

Hey guys...

Just wondering what tools/techniques you guys may be using to determine "how many monthly mobile searches are done for a particular local business."

Before Google changed their keyword tool, I was able to perform an exact match search on a business name & city & filter down to output only mobile results.

I would do this search on a biz that DID NOT have a mobile website.

The result was a monthly total of mobile searches done for those exact keywords.

So as a fictitious example, "Zebra Cabs Daytona Beach" may have resulted in 87 monthly mobile searches.

I would take this info & create a small presentation for that biz comparing their full site to a mobile site & explaining that XX amount of searches are being done each month on a mobile device. I would further explain that this traffic was potentially being lost b/c of the lack of mobile presence.

Since Google has implemented their Keyword Planner Tool, I found this type of search to be much harder (if not impossible) to initiate.

So just wondering if you guys are using any other tools to do something similar OR if there is an easy way to execute in the KPT.

Thanks!!
