Please explain that what is the difference between these two?

catalog is a document which comes attached with a product. It contains every information about the particular product. It contains information on how to operate the product. Every function of a product is defined on the catalog. Brochure is like a introductory document which contains some basic info about the product. It doesn't contain all the information related to the product like catalog.

One can be huge, many pages, the other is one page, in print world.
