Make apps - code myself or use a service?

Not sure where to put this, so I'm posting it here.

I wanna make mobile apps. I have lots of ideas, I just don't know where to go from here. Found out that there are many different services where you can pay a monthly fee for using a service and then they help you out with a couple of things. No coding etc, wysiwyg-ish, I think, haven't looked into them all.

But which service should I use, if I should use one at all? Or should I do the coding myself? Kind of a pain in the ass to code for Apple and Android separately instead of using a service where you get all the coding you need for the different platforms right away.

Any thoughts on this?

(And if a moderator wanna move the post to another forum, feel free. I posted this in the open forum but I think something happened to my posting as I could not see any post after submitting the thread.)

Hi larsjorgenbr,
I have recently started learning the Ionic Framework which uses Angular. This also uses Apache Cordova to build your app for Android, iPhone, and Windows phone. If you have any html5 and javascript coding experience, this is the way to go. It is a great framework with a great community.

It seems pretty straight forward and not very hard to understand (depending on your coding background). There are an increasing number of tutorials, and they are constantly improving on it. You can also make use of all of the Cordova plugins available.

I have only been experimenting with the Android build process for now, but the idea of coding it once and then using the build tools for the different devices seems like the way to go. It really depends on how much time you have to learn a new system.

Intel XDK is another very similar framework with a ton of tools.

Hope this helps.

You can purchase an code source of an android app or a game and then you can make a change for this code source in graphic design then you can put your code on app stores without problem
