Share on:
fb share twitter share gplus share more share

Hello friends,

I have made few ebook type of android apps. I want to monetize these apps. Please suggest me the best method. What is most beneficial? Banner Ads? Mobile CPA? Push Ads? In-text Ads?

Please guide me.

Thanks.

google play store does NOT allow push ads, if your app is on other markets - push ads still pay pretty good

My app success has come from a combination of everything mentioned above. I use a combo of AdMob banners, strategic CPA campaigns as well as relevant affiliate offers within my apps.

One thing I can tell everyone here about apps is that if you are trying to make real money without being completely flooded with competition then Windows Phone is the way to go!

I was introduced to app development for Windows Phone about a year and a half ago when I was in college finishing up my 2nd degree. I still to this day make so much money from those apps that I have no need for a "real" job.
After only a month of messing around with C# and trying to alter a few app templates, I was able to tweak a few things and publish some apps that I wouldn't download if you paid me.
But...... Those exact apps were earning $10,000 per month easy just on downloads. Of course I got better and ended up hiring a dev team to work with now, but my point is that if I can do it, anyone can.

I have even managed to make as much as $12,000 in one month on ads...
For this reason, I tell you all, if you are wanting to get into app development and you want to make the big bucks... Then stop wasting time with Android and IOS... Go for Windows Phone and Windows Store....

It is much easier to make money on Windows... Now, don't get me wrong, you can probably make great money publishing apps on the other platforms too. But because there is so much more competition that you really have to know how to promote your apps and have the means to do so.

That's just my advice... If anyone is interested in becoming a Windows and Windows Phone dev then feel free to message me. I have lots of tutorials and can definitely teach you a few tricks that will help you dominate.

Hi Money Mafia,

The ads used in your apps depend on your users. Typically banner ads are always great to integrate as you get the most volume with this type of ad. If you are looking for user engagement and increase ad revenue then ad placement becomes more of a factor. Do you integrate full screen interstitials?

I would love to help you figure out what would work best for you!

IMO, in your case (Google Play and ebook type of apps), the best solution is a full-screen ads with a list of CPA offers that relevant to your content and auditory.

For example, if your ebook is about marketing - show list of CPA offers, that are productivity apps (browsers, launchers, battery savers), if your ebook content is entertaining - show list of mobile games.

Also you can experiment with the way how to show your offer wall - interstitials or menu tab.

Try out 'Lazy bucks' mobile offer - #46 at kissmywap.com - you'll be surprised by EPC!
