how I improved user experience with mobile accelerator

Background:
When I created mobile sites or apps I have had issues with retaining users and high bounce. I couldn't understand what was happening at all. It turns out my site and apps that use website indirectly are slow and it leads to users leaving the site or dumping frequently. This was from feedback by email. Very few actually take the pain and time to send feedback. So here i was with a problem.
I tried upgrading the server locating it in better DC etc. The problem persisted. I managed to find a commercial solution but it was expensive starting from 2400US$ to upto 20,000US$. phew.

Then being a programmer I started building this tiny application about 2 years ago. It has been improved along the way and does the job well. It costs me next to nothing apart from the few 100 or so hours of my time. So you might say there was that cost.

Anyway, here is the final solution.

Test fast mobile site

I
I am currently using in apps as well as for my actual production sites. It is very easy to use so I thought i'd share for other warriors to try.

You can also try the web service by visiting Welcome to mobile browser You have to run it a couple of times to allow the service to optimize. You can compare against your regular site. It would be better if you let someone in another country on a mobile network test this. For example if your hosting is in UK ask someone from US or Asia to test.

It should be pretty fast no matter where you are located.

Feedback/Critic appreciated.

In the works: further optimization to improve speeds for images and files for web pages.

If you have questions on how to use the service please feel free to ask here or PM me.

1- the "test fast mobile site" not work, not show the map, show the error"...can not display google map elements..."
2- Just use your app to access google and search for something... Not work, cannot search anything
3- just open youtube to watch video....youtube video error
So....even the popular website, your app cannot work, how can it work with other sites
I am using Ipad 2, from Viet Nam
4- Your site is a little bit boring... Try make it with headline like "FINAL solution for SLOW Connection in mobile"+ "it's free", add logo...
Hope it helps

Hi Timothy. I am sorry you are having problems. I can look into and fix some of it. I do appreciate your feedback and the time you took to test the service.

More explanation since you are quite advanced user.

Some sites use heavy javascript and ajax. It is still a problem to fix this but I am working on it. A lot of website's communication relies on POST request. But we block it to prevent spammers from using the service to hide their IP.

1. Google does not allow us to connect to them directly and somehow disables any access. If you click direct URL then that should work. Maps will likely not work because of Ajax and POST request.
2. As above. POST requests are blocked by our site.
3. Again same issue. Plus youtube blocks and no longer offers a mobile site opting for "responsive" design.

The sites you selected are already big and popular as you said. They are also heavily powered by their own CDN and fast connection in every country so one would not benefit from using 3ezy.com service to access these popular and already fast sites. But not all sites can afford to have a Datacenter in every country and this where my service is helping. Try with your own site to see the difference.

4- Your site is a little bit boring... Try make it with headline like "FINAL solution for SLOW Connection in mobile"+ "it's free", add logo...

Agreed. I am going to fix that asap.
