How can I get a lot of downloads for my app ?

Hello ,

I post many applications in google play , with a nice design and a good keywords , but i don't get a lot of downloads , can someone help me ? thanks

Have you had app tester? Do they have the ability to easily share your apps? Do you do any other form of marketing besides submitting it to the app store.

Aside from that, design and keywords are only a small part of what attracts people to use an app. If the purpose or usage area of the app is not something people find interesting or important, they are much less likely to download it.

Price and reviews are also a big part of it.

You must optimize your apps for the right keywords , target the right niche by doing effective market research and leverage the power of ASO. Also try building a social media presence around your app.

Secondly share on Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, Stumble Upon, Reddit, Tumbler, Pinterest, and also comment on Forums and related websites, so your download counter can show more downloads..

Have you considered joining an ad network? Some networks offer a way to monetize and promote you app, even for those on a very small budget.

You need to create a promotion stratergy first. Are you going to do free or paid promotion. You can see quick ROI with paid promotion like CPI. If you are planning CPI then PM for more details and i will help you in that.

Check first if there is a demand. For example, if your app is in Google Play with the title xyz and there are only 1000 searches per month for xyz then don't expect to many downloads - especially if you have a lot of competitors. If it is a game, I suggest you study first what makes a game really interesting ( read articles on Flappy Bird and why it went viral )

I finally tried AppHeights.com

Compared to other services, they provided me with descriptive data on every download that was delivered.

Also got my app reviewed on a few websites. Which lead to some additional traffic.

Hello can you please be more clear about how to target the right niche? and how to choose the right keywords?

That's a tricky question with an easy answer. The first and probably the most important to incerase the downloads of your app is to promote them good. As for today, I would suggest you using Internet platforms for this purpose:

1) Joing facebook forums where people are communicating about the apps. This will be your targeted audience and many of them will probably check it out. The good thing you can also ask for some feedback.

2) Finding sponsors. This is monthing but getting companies or individuals that would tak ethe responsibily of promoting your app. Most of the technologies blogs or websites should be interested on providing somethinbg new to tehir clients.

3) Invoke your friends. this might be eally helpful as you might get access to their social media accounts and would reach their friends as well while promoting your app.

make sure the title and the description have the keywords you are looking to rank for in app’s. You need to have the keywords you want to rank for in the title and description. Over 50% of the apps don’t do this because they are made by developers and not marketers.

use social media. Both, on my website and on the mobile apps I suggest to people to share the app on their social networks. That also adds to your traffic and gives you a small boost in downloads.
