It depends on how you intend on using the keyword and where. "Crush" by itself isn't "in breach" of anything. Coupled with "Candy", it might cross a line somewhere. It really depends on your intentions.

Okay, so I gather you want to make an app named "Fruit Crush" or whatever. Your problems with this keyword won't come from Google. They'll come from Candy Crush who might not like another person using something so similar to that trademarked name (assuming it's trademarked at all). If you're truly concerned, you'll want to study the history of online trademark battles that address your very issue. The good news is that the history is highly interesting. |
