Automated WhatsApp, would it be cool?

Good day! Long time no see

There's an idea that has popped inside my head. I've been giving it some thought for the last hours and I think it's a pretty cool idea, but I wanted to know what you guys think, and whether you would pay money for it!

The idea involves building an "automated WhatsApp autoresponder", or a "bot". User would need a cell phone number to activate the WA account, or an already activated number. Then, the piece of software would be hosted in an inexpensive server and would listen to incoming WhatsApp messages.

Any other WA user would then send whatever "subscribe" keyword to the bot and so be subscribed. Then the bot would start to send messages (any kind of them: links, videos, pics...) to each subscriber, up until the subscriber sends the "unsubscribe" keyword. Those messages would be totally customizable, obviously, and could be either "dripped" or written "on the fly".

I guess this all means building a kind of "WhatsApp mailing list".

EDIT: I've made a couple of searches and didn't find anything similar available right now... Do you know of any similar product?

Sooo... what do you people think? Ideas, suggestions? Should I get coding right away? Will you fellow marketers make me rich?
