QMS implementation in mobile phones

Hey,
I had installed QMS in my business firms (in the office) for the risk analysis, supplier management etc. Most often I will be out of station or sometimes I may do my work from home. Those times I can't access the software and check the quality performances. I wish I could get it on my tablet or mobile phones so that I can access it whenever I need. Does it work on an android platform? Is it possible to download a QMS software?

I hope I can help you, because I was in the search of an answer for the same question. Sometimes, when I travel for business purposes, I was totally confused and was concerned about the issues in the workplace. Even though mobile was not designed to provide full functionality, but still I hoped that it could solve the issue in my absence in the company. I enquired about the use of quality management software in the mobile to many of my friends who are running businesses, and finally I got it. Two months back, one of my friends in Toronto, Canada gave me a good suggestion. He told me that, business people can remotely access information,documents and tasks on the go from anywhere with internet access.

He made it very clear that there are some key elements for quality management software to be used in a mobile are the ability to function offline, continuous review and approval and reporting and decision making. Further, mobile quality management software are mainly provided to extent our main system beyond our workstation.
