Hello! I am having an issue with Mailchimp, specifically with regards to the way one section of the email shows up in gmail (iphone and android). I have 3 features in a 1:3 column view. Looks great on the mailchimp preview window for desktop (3 images left to right) and also on the mailchimp mobile preview (3 images stacked vertically and stretched to the virtual phone width). However when I send the email to my phone and open with gmail it does not appear full width. I downloaded another email program, BlueMail, and it looks fine...the images stack and are stretched to full width as one would expect. I am lead to believe that this is an issue with gmail mobile and the max width on an image? Has anyone run into this issue before? I am using a standard template from mailchimp and no custom css (at least for now). It may also be an issue with the template because from the image below you can see that the "view this email in a browser" text has reduced width as well. In BlueMail this is full width as expected. Cheers! |
