It seems like every week I read about a company launching a mobile website builder.

Google sites has one too, I was trying to use it but I don't have the relevant resources to do much with it. But it is free

Most of these website generators have limitations - one of the big ones being you need to host the sites with them which means you are always at the mercy of a third party provider. You should, where possible, keep control of all your website assets, especially when you are working with a large number of clients. It's the only way to be sure everything is going to work the way you need it to.

you should also check the hosting fees associated with these 'mobile website builders' as some are charging based on the volume of traffic you mobile site gets!

Just curious, is developing mobile site alot easier/faster than developing a regular website? What are some hurdles you guys face with creating effective mobile sites?
