Hey, I finished reading every posts from the thread http://www.warriorforum.com/offline-...al-market.html and I'm in. I've decided to execute this business, and create a mobile marketing company in my town. Over the last two weeks, I've been observing this market, and I've gotta tell you that there are MANY companies out there that do not have a mobile website. I even see QR codes popping out in ads, and what's surprising about them is that the majority of their sites are not even mobile optimized, such a waste of clever marketing. I'm in the process of creating my own website with its mobile version. I'll be contacting prospects as soon as I finish setting up everything. I just wanted to thank you guys, and suggest every one to read every post in that thread, as it is golden information. Hope this strategy will work out for me as I plan to go far with it, will post back updates soon. Tip for those who are bad in cold calling: I've made a deal with a friend to become my sales representative for a 50% commission. Find friends who can work with you, and profit! |

Although I appreciate the thanks, as I'm sure both Quentin and Scott do also, there are a ton of people who have made that thread such a great resource for mobile website developers. Props to Scott for starting it in the first place. I'm sure the others will agree with me when I say the amount of knowledge I have given back to this forum fails miserably in comparison to what I have gained. I don't think there is anyone on this forum that is not continually learning and that's what makes it such a great place to hang. If threads like that can inspire people, even a few, to take action and stop chasing the promises of magic buttons then I think that's a great thing. Best of luck and if you ever need anything, you know where we all are! |

Mobile marketing & mobile commerce is the future. I am now finding a little bit of luck in mobile CPA. Next, I am learning HTML5 & jQuery Mobile to build mobile websites for local small & medium enterprise here in Malaysia. How much should I charge them, let's say for 5-7 pages of mobile page? It is okay for $500 per website? |

That price is ok if the market can sustain it. I find depending on the quality you can charge between $197 and $497. Start high so that you have room to play with and explore what you are giving them within the mobile site as not everyone will want just plain html.
