Here is an article I found that I wanted to share.... Is it our faults for not educating business owners on the importance of having a mobile friendly site? Here is the link to the article http://blog.kelseygroup.com/index.ph...bile-friendly/ |

Great post Adam! I'd say it's pretty evident we are back in the 90's with mobile. I have a feeling it will explode much faster considering the extreme versatility and rampant ownership of smart phones. I noted your comment on kelseygroup that 50% Local searches are done on mobile. Do you have a reference source on that? Would be terrific to use that along with these graphs in a presentation or even a flier. Thanks for posting this. -Pete |

Here is an infograph that Microsoft put out a few months ago. I am sure you have seen it. It states, "One half of all local searches are performed on mobile devices" Infographic: Mobile Statistics, Stats & Facts 2011*|*Digital Buzz Blog

Thanks Adam, that will come in handy real for me! I just have to say, it only helps our credibility when we can back up our stats with reputable resources. We as marketers know how important the credibility factor is and just it amazes me how some people put stats out in order to promote their product or service without checking the resources. It hurts the whole marketing community as well, I think. I am always seeing all the great stats thrown in your face, but as time goes on those stats are not always consistent. For example: 97% of all text messages are opened within the first 10 minuets. That’s been changing all over the place lately. Who knows were that stat came from? |

Thanks! Much interested... I'm trying to put together a good client presentation as well as building a fact-filled flier. Have you put together a collection? -Pete
