Hi there, I know QR code can link to SMS, but I just don't understand how it works. I plan to do SMS marketing, instead of asking people to text "Free Drink" to 12345, can they just scan the QR code? and they don't need to type "Free Drink". I saw QR-Code Generator can generate for sms. what is Nr? Thanks Waiyi |

they just scan the code with the phone, then the phone interpret it and creates a sms so they just click to send it nr= it's the number you want to send the message, short code, long code or whatever |

Just be careful when doing this. From my experience, not every QR Code reader will populate the text with your KEYWORD. I test with 5 different readers on my iPhone, and only two of them actually pick up both the short code and the keyword. The other three only pick up the short code. NR=number

I think Lime Cellular is the best white label SMS marketing platform. | ||

thanks for the replies. Now I got the idea. I think I am better off let them text it and scan it.
