Finally made the switch to a smart phone this summer...Sometimes I can even figure it out! Will come with time though and is something that is considered almost necessary for an online marketer.

I've been using smartphones for years. Started with the Palm Treo 650 (if you call that a smart phone), then went to Blackberry Storm, then Blackberry Storm 2, and finally the HTC Thunderbolt using Android. I absolutely love the Android OS and I'm hoping to get an Android tablet around Christmas when they start discounting them. The biggest reason I never went the Apple route is the limitation of the memory. My Thunderbolt phone came with 8 gigs of onboard memory plus a 32 gig sd card. I can load up all of my photos, music, and even aps on the sd card and leave the phone's memory for more important thngs. Same thing with the Android tablets. Most can use external memory cards which is a huge benefit to me. Plus, from what I've heard, most iPhone aps cost you a dollar or more, but the equivilent ap on an Android is free. Plus the widgets are cool, not to mention, being able to customize your screen. Ok. Sorry about the Android commercial....but to answer the original poll. Yes, I'm a smartphone user....lol. Mike |

I'm a certified Nokia S60 phone user and fanatic. I always prefer Nokia S60 device, since my 1st phone was an S60 as well. I was so hooked with it, amazed the capabilities of Nokia S60 phones. I can multi-task, now I'm owning a Nokia N8 phone. Yet I have to hack / cook the FW to have full access to it's private file and folders. |

I love Android. Just yesterday I took a hike outside my mountain village with the girlfriend. During the hike I posted pics on facebook, did some geocaching, ran my runkeeper app with GPS and it tracked all our activity: time, average speed, altitude changes, calories burned etc. and uploaded to my site with an amazing map showing me everywhere we went with altitudes. I also run a community directory and can run the site from the phone including take pictures of businesses and video. Upload videos to Youtube etc etc. Very cool stuff. |

Evo 4G (Android) owner here and my S.O. has an iPhone4. I prefer my android hands and fists over the iPhone mainly because of the lack of memory and battery access. I also feel Apple has too tight of a hold on what you can do with the phone. There's my $.02 hope it's helpful. |

I have both Apple (Iphone 4) and Android( HTC Desire S). Both devices are fabulous and i love both of them. However the customization features of iPhone sucks and on the other side the battery power of my Android sucks too. Other then that the only difference is that I paid $1,000 for my iPhone and on the other side only $550 for my Desire S |

It looks like I'm in the minority, but I don't use a smartphone ... it's just not worth paying extra for a data package. Having said that, I enjoy using other people's iphones and am considering getting an ipad (wifi not 3G!)

I don't have a smartphone right now but I've been researching them. I'm coming up on my renewal date shortly and I'm going to get an Android phone...narrowing it down to a few models. Borrowing a smartphone when going to do a mobile site demo for a customer isn't really very fun...LOL |

Heres a tip: You don't need to pay $100+ a month or sign a 2 year contract. Prepaid phones have come of age the past year. I have a Droid X which I consider to be superior to the Iphone and I pay $30 a month on PagePlus. Verizon network. I've also had an Optimus V for the past 6 months on Virgin Mobile for $45 a month unlimited data. Pay $150 for a $600 phone on ebay and save yourself the headache of contracts and high bills. Check the prepaid section on Howard forums and you will find all the help you need. |

Haha, CouchPotato!!! The Treo 650 YES!!! Had one, loved it! Haha, that thing was so fat. You were awesome in those days if you had a stylus. Now I just laugh at myself...and I feel really old, because in those days if you had a holster you were too cool for school. Not much anymore, haha.

Yes, and definitely twice a user. I am using 2 smartphones - one is a Samsung Galaxy S2, running on Android Gingerbread; and a BlackBerry Bold 9700 on OS6. I have the best of both worlds - one is a super-fast smartphone which can download web sites easily and phone that has qwerty keyboard. I use BlackBerry as a work phone. |

I was at a national real estate convention a few years ago and all the big dogs had the Treo. Now it sadly sits in a dresser collecting dust. Technology will never stand still.......thank God. Mike | |

I finally made the switch to a smartphone in September. I purchase the Samsung Galaxy S2, a totally amazing device. Superb voice recognition, lets me do the majority of my tasks, web search, email, messaging, phoning, etc ...just by talking to the unit. A helpful thought.... One thing I found, like most smartphone users: you end up with numerous apps. Finding their icons on the various smartphone pages is a nuisance. I tried several app organizers. The best App Organizer hands down is "Auto App Organizer". You can find it in the Google App Marketplace. |

Alcatel with a QWERTY keypad. I prefer feeling the keys on my fingertips, that's why I will never buy a full-touch phone. Don't get me wrong, the iPhone and its kind are wonderful phones, but they're just not for me. A QWERTY phone with an Android OS is the best, IMHO.

Me too Kayetaylor from Vegas, and I must say that you are a very smart person @harsh16, if you don't like smart phones and you don't have a smart phone (correct me here if I'm wrong) but this business will be harsh on you. I'm not sure why you don't like them, but I hope you find your way in everything you do |

Love my iPhone 4S! There are other great devices out there, but I switched from a Lenovo to a MacBook Pro last year and love the stability and integration of all the Apple devices. I know that they ar limited, but ease of use and stability is important, as is reliability. I am a shameless Apple guy now, have a 2TB Time Capsule and Apple TV at home and the ability to walk in and get everything synced up easily and wirelessly is amazing. |
