Hey everyone, I'm brand new to the forum and thought I'd introduce myself and ask a few questions as well. My name is Jason and I live in Portland, OR. I currently have a J-O-B but my entrepeneurial spirit has me itching to get back to the land of self employment and helping people. As such, I have been doing quite a bit of research on Mobile Marketing in all of it's different facets. I thought I'd reach out to the more experienced members of this forum for some answers to a few questions I have. -I've noticed that there are plenty of companies out there that offer both affiliate and reseller programs and software. Did you choose one of these routes, or are you building an infrastructure from scratch? -If you chose to go the affiliate or reseller route, whom did you choose to go with and why? There seem to be a plethora of players in the game, many being somewhat similar at face value. -Are there specific disciplines within the all-encompassing term of "Mobile Marketing" that you've chosen to concentrate on? -What experiences have you had with getting businesses involved with your services? Any insight you can offer would be tremendously helpful and appreciated. Thanks in advance! |

One method I use: I generate mobile squeeze pages (offering free report etc to get the opt-in), I use Admob (you can target your audience pretty good), bid .03 a click, then e-mail market. If done right you can build a list rather quickly. on my mobile "thank you page" I thank them, then let them know it is best to recieve their free product on a computer to DL it, and have a link out to a CPA offer in that niche from offermobi, that can help recoup some of the upfront costs. Second way - mobile landing page for presell purposes, that will link out to a CPA offer. |

good idea. use ppm to get exposure, then take them to a mobile landing page with a free report that will generate your opt in list. from there, sell them your products Dont forget that mobile viewers are on the go so single opt in, no choice here to get a good conversion. some campaign had a 20 to 30 % success rate.
