Hi guys, I come up with the design of QR-Code that has its Headline to attract people to scan it. The Annotated QR Code is working and scan-able. What do you think about it? Will it be effective? Here is some of my designs.. Design 1: Design 2: Design 3: |

An annotated code has the advantage - it is like a hot button in a hot button - more attraction, more response rate -

Excellent, thanks for the idea. It surely makes people who are not even sure what the heck a qr code is, to give it a shot ! Simply great !

Still doesnt help the fact that people dont know what to do with the QR code... I'd say a Diagram with someon pointing their phone at the Code like this is best : You cant expect people to scan something with out BLANTANT instruction and explanation near it.... SCAN THIS FOR 50% OFF WITH YOUR PHONE!!! |

Rahmat, What a great idea. I can see a big benefit when showing this to store owners. Let them know you could setup a certain quantity of different ones for a set price and it would be easy for them to rotate for different seasons. For example, let's say your client has a party store and their largest season is halloween. They may want to give a smaller discount then because they know they are going to have a lot of customers in their store, but in the months when traffic count is low they could offer a larger discount. It would be just a matter of changing out the QR codes being displayed. |

Hi bonn, Your solution does not help with the fact that not all smartphones are installed with software to scan QR Code. I wonder how to 'educate' people out there on how to use QR code... I think certain age groups are more savvy with QR code.. e.g. the teenagers.

Do you mean to have different headline for different season? Yeah, I think you can do that. It's like changing the headline of your sales letter... fast and easy | |

What program did you use to get the image inside the QR code? Just a though, say you had a business card and on the back side is your QR code, maybe text saying "To scan this, search QR Code Scanner on your smartphone and download app" |

Most people don't realize that upwards of 30% of a QR Code can be obscured by an image and the QR code will still be accruately scan-able.
