OK, I have a client who is planning on sending me lots of work. He asked about shopping cart possibilities with mobile sites. Not having dealt with that yet, I was open with him about it and said I'd do some research and get back to him when I had it figured out. So,..... I need some help "figuring" it out!

Mobile Shopping Carts are available on desktops already, what i believe will be the challenges are the number of items to maintain and make available in a viewable catalog, and then being able to scroll through many items. Choice of categories and sub-menus , may help to organize the items better, but careful panning is needed here.

There was a WSO by someone call lilmikey which i thought was pretty good, it was lacking a few features, and wasnt necessarily noob friendly but it gave you the basics and something to start from.

i know from our standpoint 2012 we will have our own mCommerce solution for this as we currently have something in development and are expecting to be rolling out 2QT - saying that we thought our mobile wordpress theme would be up third quarter this year and we are still wrapping it up! lol Whilst there is a need for these things its better to make things right and work then cut corners and rush things... well thats our standpoint anyway
