I had this idea this morning and was wondering if my fellow warriors could help me out a little bit and point me into the right direction for this. What I would like is this: 1)I would like to get a QR code that is scannable by the popular mobile phones 2)This code will open the browser on the phone with a simpel site of the product with a facebook and twitter link (very basic) 3) even better would be if the facebook and twitter phone app's would open when clicking the link. I have 0.000 experience with QR codes and mobile website. I can build simpel html websites myself What tools do I need?/Sites must I check out? And off course this should be for as little money as possible. The product I'm promoting is not a money making product. I'm promoting it for name recognision. Please help! |

I've seen plenty of businesses in holland use QR codes. I'm still in college and there on almost every flyer. But again it hasn't been done yet in the group I am going to target. Anyway, so QR codes? How to get them?

SergeLight, an easy way to get QR codes from URLs on your website is to use a URL shortning service like bit.ly. Sign up for an account and shrink a URL. Once you do, visit the "+" page. Along with tracking stats bit.ly also provides a QR code for every link.

There are several QR code generators on the net. Most are free. I like this one. There are two WSOs that I know of to make mobile sites. One is from WillR, Business in a Box, which is the one I use. If you know HTML then Will's would be do it in your sleep simple. He offers excellent support. The other is from Quentin. His WSO is here. I haven't used his but I haven't read anything but praise from those who have. |
You can get anything you want if you help enough other people get what they want. Losers fail and quit. Winners fail until they succeed. Indecision is worse than the wrong decision. You can fix a wrong decision, you can't fix indecision.
