Hi, I`m still looking for a way to implement a database with products into a mobile site. Be it xml or csv datafeeds. A few potential clients with online shops have asked me about this when i pitched them for developing a mobile version of their site.. Telling them: Ehm, i don`t know how to do that (yet) makes you look kind of .... Especially when they go to google and find mobile site providers who facilitate this option with ease. Any tips/solutions are welcome.. Thanks, Charles. |

Simple templates will not work for such businesses unless you know how to integrate the template with the database. You will need a custom solution for such places because they will have different types of sites and different types of ecommerce/shopping cart platforms. If you don't know how to do it or don't want to do it, you should find a person who can build ecommerce type of mobile sites. This work will take longer than editing a simple mobile template and you should charge more for this. Or you could as well forget this type of businesses and go for the ones that will not require a mobile ecommerce solution. |
