Hi all, Just found this handy site for testing your mobile sites MobileTest.me - Test your mobile sites and web applications right from your browser You select a device, type the URL you want to test and it will show you the selected device displaying your website in the device’s original resolution. I gave it a test but the devices are way too big and not life like so they don't give a very good representation of what the person will actually see. I think I will stick to Mobilizer. |

Thanks to KCNL for sharing. Hope I'm not highjacking thread by directing question to WillR. Will, I was introduced to Mobilizer through your course and love it - use it everyday. I your experience how reliable is it? How good is it at detecting mobile sites? |

There is not one method that is 100% effective at finding mobile websites apart from visiting a website on an actual smartphone -- that's the only way you can be 100% sure. I usually tell people not to worry so much because it's a lot more likely the person you are contacting will not already have a mobile website and even if they do, it's not the end of the world. You'll be able to contact a lot more businesses if you don't worry so much about checking for mobile sites. If you are going to be cold-calling or doing face to face meetings however, it might be best to do a quick check beforehand since you will waste less time doing so. | |

Easy to use. Would also suggest smaller devices. I would like it a lot more if the entire device could be see on screen.
