Hi - My offline clients (such as dentists) are starting to ask for text message marketing services and this is one of the subjects I just have not yet had time to research/implement. Can anyone recommend a quick training program or even a WSO which I could use to get a good overview of this subject so that I can start delivering to the clients who are requesting it? Thank you! |

Hey, this guys WSO was pretty good, it was quick, concise and to the point: http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...ss-rate.html#1 However, if its not available, I can tell you what I do. I use a service txt180.com, its very affordable, and you can have different keywords for each client for only an additional $2/month...I set up their keyword, and I give them a free QR-code too, and design a poster for them (fiverr.com). I charge a $97 set up, which takes care of their poster, keyword, and first month of service. After that first month its $297/month, and I set up a link through paypal that bills monthly. You already have clients waiting, but you can find more on groupon, living social, yelp, google places, and the yellow pages. Good Luck! |

I use Avid for my text marketing and they have some really good training material. But you do have to sign up in order to get it.

Because Mobile is relatively new, there are very few training resources out there...BUT... I can't stress this enough...training IS Crucial! While sending a text is easy, creating effective campaigns is the only way you will be able to keep clients. |

Trumpia.com is a good service for text and email marketing. They have a lot of info on their site about how you can use their different features.

OpenVBX is completely customizeable and you can integrate phone calling as well. Just drag and drop and build custom applications for clients. I use it for restaurants mainly, but it could work just as well for a dentist. Seems like they could use an appointment reminder system more than a text message service. If so, check out Chad Wyatt's WSO that is a Wordpress plugin that uses Twilio. Reminder go out via text, email AND phone call. So Twilio is much more than just using texting. Position yourself as a custom application developer (even if you aren't like me) and you can command more money from clients every month. I did a 27 minute video on openvbx and how to set up custom "flows" about 6 months ago. If you pm me I'll send you the link. |

I have recently decided to start joining the wave of sms marketing. I narrowed my search down to 2 companies Avid and Lime Cellular. I decided to give Lime a try because I found that they had a great appointment tool that I could use for Doctors and Dentist office. Being some of my family is involved with the Dentist field I figured this would be a good start for me.

Thanks HypeText. I will Check out your service. I just started running mobile marketing through my own site. It uses the Twilio word press plug in and it was a bear to learn. The developer offers a screen cast to help you learn but it is lacking in so many areas. I will check out your service. Maybe my current and prospective clients might benefit from the change. |
