In an effort to keep you going with new types of leads here is one I got today. A local tourism site wanted to add QR Codes to various tourist signs and brochures around their area and direct the to a mobile website. This is a fantastic job because there are about 400 different venues around the area so @ $30 a page and QRC this will be a nice ongoing project especially as all I have to do is copy and paste off their main site and just cut it down a bit. I got it over other businesses because I could track the QR Code so they could see where on what it was scanned. So try some tourist companies, magazines as they are hungry for new ways to promote their clients businesses and they are usually ongoing contracts. We use our Wordpress mobile website for this. Can you explain how you did this, and how you presented your proposal to the tourist companies?

Quentin, would you mind if I ask you to "disclose" a little bit more?

I.M.Retiredit was all on the phone and the lead came in through one of my sites. I actually use what I a selling to y customers to get leads and I get calls all the time. Most businesses like to call so I have a skype number so I can get calls from all over the world. This one was a tourism agency in rural Australia who promote various tourism spots around their area. Quentin, Please correct me if I'm wrong. What you mean by "where on what it was scanned" is that you use Google analytics to tell what device (Blackberry, iPhone, ect) was used to scan the code and where the person was when they scanned it (city, state, country). |
You can get anything you want if you help enough other people get what they want. Losers fail and quit. Winners fail until they succeed. Indecision is worse than the wrong decision. You can fix a wrong decision, you can't fix indecision.

hi Quentin, thanks for the lead type. This sounds like a really good idea. If I understand correctly they scan a code on the tourist sign but what was used to do the scanning? Cheers steev |
