What we do is go into stores that have their own products like non restaurant franchises. Our most successful sales campaign has been with Max Muscle. Their corporate office supplies them all kinds of marketing materials, but doesnt help them locally optimize. They provide them coupons etc butttt. here is the key:

Franchise owners can promote their products however they want... weather it be newspaper ads, social media or whatever...

We kick down the door with a mobile offering they just love!

Our pitch: "Hi! We couldnt help but notice you dont have a mobile site (or you do), you should really get on that... but thats not why were here. We wanted to share with you an awesome way to convert new and old customers to addicted, repeat customers! We have a rediculously easy way to deploy mobile sites with QR codes and short URLS... we print QR Code stickers for you to put on your products... so when a customer runs out or is running out of your product, you teach them to scan the qr code on the bottle, box, case ... whatever it is to see if that product is on special... CUSTOMERS LOVE IT, and you get repeat business because the customer is always getting the best possible deal from your business. !!! " What do you say? We've already built an example site for you, toss us $100 dollars today and we'll go finish it within 48 hours and print the stickers for your product. Once we deliver everything we'll collect $200 dollars and you're off to the races. Also --- If you're interested we offer a $50 dollar monthly "modifications service" if you'd like our team to make basic changes for you throughout the month....

So far --- we've been able to get at least 3-5 sales a day!!! Dont get me wrong -- there is some ground and pound simply because you have to scout out small businesses selling products... walk into 20-30 businesses a day to achieve our success!

So, do you create one QR code that leads to their mobile site that lists all their products? Or do you create a QR code for each product page on a website? It seems like it could be a LOT of work to either develop a mobile site with lots of products OR to create a QR code for every product.

very simple you make a multifunction mobile site with all the coupons on them in a coupon section ... i think it will make more sense here is one of the stores actual sites:

GoMo Mobile Site Builder and Creator Platform - GoMobile Innovations Mobile sites, landing pages, qr code sites and content management system.

We used one qr code and one site, with different sections. If the user scanned a qr code they saw on a "win a 50$ gift card" add, they click the "enter to win" section. If the user scanned a qr code for coupons on product, when the site loads they click "coupons etc."

Sounds great! How many stickers are you supplying with their initial order! Is there a back-end to offer packages of stickers. I would think the monthly fee you charge them would have to have different prices to go along with what you offer and quantities of stickers.

I'm just shy about going to the local shopping district, walking into businesses and trying to sell them this. I mean, I believe in mobile, but I'm fresh out of high school and I'm afraid people won't take me seriously. Selling 3 - 5 websites per day? Wow, I hope that's true!

I thought stickers were going to be very expensive... but hey are totally not! All i did was go into Alphagraphics / Kinkos / Thomas Reprographics / your local print shop and ask for 50 stickers and a foamboard backed printout of the 8 1/2 x 11 poster we made for them to put on their counter.... they quoted 42 dollars. we billed them $75 on top of development.

QR stickers are gaining popularity day by day and the reason is simple, its next level, time is changing and people want easy access for every thing. Companies like ebay go some QR stickers made from us and looking to order more, its shows that its bringing them some bucks.

I just tried to go to the website to check it out, but it says its not a valid one!
Plus I am a little confused on the stickers. You said you went to kinkos or local printshop. What do these stickers look like? Aren't they normal stickers like stamps?

The stickers just look like white paper with a qr code printed on them. They are about 1.5 inches x 1.5 inches. Always make sure to have white space around the whole qr code so that readers can identify the 3 large blocks. Other wise you're going to run into issues.

Other than that - the stickers are extremely cheap!
