I have a client (if I can figure this out) who is a dj on an internet radio station. Their main website streams live 24/7 via either realplayer, winamp, quicktime, and windows media player. He'd like a mobile page created just for his show (although, he doesn't mind if it streams 24/7 like the main site). Can I create a way to stream the program live on a mobile page? And if so, how is that done? THANKS!!

Rob, I haven't done it myself but I would imagine the way forward for you would be some type of HTML5 audio player. Here is one I found just searching around: jPlayer : HTML5 Audio & Video for jQuery I haven't had a good look at it but it seems the old way of streaming audio is going to be taken over by the HTML5 <audio> tag. So that's what I would be doing my research on now if I were you. Here's another resource I found: http://dev.opera.com/articles/view/h...-radio-player/ |
