Here are some current stats that may help you to realize that mobile is a good thing to bet on. LATEST UPDATE (January, 2012): • Cellular subscriptions worldwide: 6 billion. • Latest subscriber stats for top three countries: China and India now account for over 30 percent of world subs, both rapidly approaching 1 billion and dwarfing subs in third-place USA. • Global and regional Mobile Web usage stats: 1.2 billion active mobile-broadband subscriptions worldwide; Asia is top region; Top 10 mobile Web countries: South Korea and Japan lead in mobile broadband penetration. • VC investment in mobile in 2011: $6.3 billion or 42.4 percent of total budgets. • Top US mobile ad networks by revenue are Google, Millennial Media, Apple, Yahoo!, Microsoft and Jumptap. • Google’s $2.5 billion in annual revenue from mobile advertising. • eBay expects customers to buy and sell $8 billion of merchandise in 2012. • PayPal expects to see $7 billion in mobile payment volume in 2012. I Just started getting all sucked up in to this mobile marketing yesterday and today I bought WillR's My Mobile business to start out with and by the way it is the best to get me going and now this.I feel like the forces of nature is moving my way this time around, Thanks Qcreek.I already bookmarked your site so i can consume it later I mean after going through My Mobile business by WillR.
