hey guys, I would like to know how to create a mobile desktop or home screen app style button that when pressed will launch a clients mobile website. I guess the best way to describe it would be a bookmark lol. Anyway how would you go about creating one of these, also how would the customer get the icon on their mobile device home page or app list? Is there a software that can do this and would you have to add a bookmark this site button to the actual website. Any help would be great thanks. Regards, Stephen. |

This can be done very easily. 1. Insert an 'Add to Homescreen' bubble that pops up on your mobile website when a new visitor arrives: Add to Home Screen Bubble 2. Create a customized icon for your mobile website: How to Create a Custom Apple iPhone Icon for Your Web Site Now when people hit your site they will be asked to Bookmark your site and the icon image you create is the one that will be added to their phones homescreen. |
