I want to start offering SMS service as well as mobile websites to offline clients and was wondering if anyone could recommend a good WSO to go with that would help with getting started?

If anyone can recommend any particular one they read that got them going and worked out for them as far getting clients and servicing the clients as well.

Search for the forum members Quentin and Willr for the mobile website part. They both offer WSO's and are very active members with very good answers and attitude

The best one I've seen about SMS was by a member named criinit or criniit, but it has been deleted. Not sure why.

Hi MrTrance....there have been several sms and mobile site WSO's...I've bought probably all of them...you never can have enough education or tools that have been offered here...however, with all respect to every one of the Warriors who have offered products and services releated to the SMS industry...I want to share a few key points about the SMS offline marketing in general...

I am an ad agency owner...or offliner like online marketers refer to us as ... ...regardless, when you get into offline marketing services to real brick and mortar business owners...it's a completely different world out there...and after my 28 years as a company president and owner, I will say that the WSO's offered in the WF even though very good in content and product...all fall short when it comes to how business is done in the offline world with real hard core brick and mortar business owners.....

If you're new to the offline marketing concept...if you don't have a quality sales approach as well as a well developed sales presentation that includes sales management scheduling and followup system in place...you're going to get frustrated real quick....

More importantly, many of the sms or text messaging systems talked about and sold in piece mealed processes...such as mobile web templates do you absolutely no good unless you have the outsourced support or can do it all in house fairly quickly....

In my case, i tracked the mobile web over a period of 3 years before ever setting a launch plan or prelaunch buzz until I was well educated not only with the competition, but also the various systems and vendors...it has been a priceless investment of my time and has paid off...

In a nutshell, I have what's called a loss leader with kindergarten education in bite size pieces to slowly allow my prospects and existing clients the opoortunity to digest this massive amount of knowledge and what comitments they must be willing to make just in order to make it all finally come together in concert with everything wlse they do offline and online...and you should have some intimate knowledge they don't have in order to really get them to whip out a check or credit card and they say... set me up...let's do it...it's at this point you better be able to deliver...the right stuff and the on time service as well as be able to debug or update because these brick and mortar business owners are programmed from yellow pages sales pros and sales pros from all walks of vendpr sources...and be aware they get hammered daily with sales calls from telemarketing rooms with telemarketers who are hard closers...

I have my tactics that beat the hell out of all these competitors..no matter who they are...and I have the right sms platforms in place that work and impress everyone...I use a low cost turn key systerm and have a couple more advanced sms systems in place to later upgrade as these clients build a sizeable optin permission based phone number list....

Don't be dependant on WSO's as a substitute for quality training. I'm not saying that WSO's can't or don't provide useful information but many are filled with fluff and misinformation.

A good SMS Platform with a Reseller Program SHOULD include a comprehensive training program that will give you everything you need and will be included in the Platform Costs.

Willr has a very good reputation as a WF Member...I'm also one of his
customers in a way...I highly recommend his training programs, products
and any WSO he promotes...

I differ in that I have an offline advertising company I started long before
the internet was born...in fact we used to have to cut and paste adcopy
with exacto blades and glue sticks...as much as I hate to admit all that...
print medias work...but you better have the real deal knowledge about
what you promote or you'll be chewed up and spit out by any offline
business owner...they get pitched 100's of times a month and from pros.

Training is very important...but understanding your competitors is just
as important...knowing how to get the pen in the clients hand to ink
their signature and do it all providing a pleasant easy to understand
experience only comes from pros...you'll know that when they thank
you as they hand over a check or credit card number...with a smile.
