I have glanced at both and they are certainly possibilities.
I really appreciate the offer and may yet pm you.
But ideally I'd like to start with the provider I can stick with. So, I'd like to give some time to finding the best balance of price & features. I hope that makes sense.

In that spirit, am I correct in saying neither have white label options?

Are they true sms as opposed to smtp?

Would either of them be better options for a newbie than lets say Lime?

Given that Lime is now an option in UK, are textlocal and textmarketer comparable with Lime?

We use textmarketer.co.uk as they are by far the lowest cost in the UK for Tier 1 delivery.

They don't have white label options but to be honest white labelling is becoming a thing of the past now, esepcially with rules in and around make people aware of affiliations. Also, people simply search out what they want to compare anyway - so go with the best cost.

In terms of tools - all the main UK providers have pretty identical tools and features so that's no problem.

SMS is a commodity really (so long as you're only going with Tier 1 providers) so cost is pretty much the key differentiator.
