Hi Guys Firstly this forum has provided logical suggestions and actionable feedback for so many and I commend all that provide such great feedback to those in need. So here is my go (small guy at the back trying to see through the crowd) I am starting a sms/mobile business in the UK focusing on helping sports/leisure clubs organisations and events connect with their customers through mobile (please dont say the market is not big enough, i know that it is). Platform - going with LIME Cellular - these guys have jut come to the UK, the pricing is more expensive than the US, but the tools and functionality they offer is excellent! Targeting - Well after the website is finished - Offering them a free mobile website (as long as they stay) with training on how to use it with the services I provide along with support, feedback and analysis reports (that I will provide for them). I plan to approach them initially via with a very personalised email and the opportunity to see a demo of their site (I will produce this). How is this so far? I do like what Mobuzz said in another thread - build my list of prospects first and offer deals to these guys (do you think this is a better way to go#?) QR codes have not really taken off in the UK (yet?) The unique experience of sports participation means consumption (the majority of the time) is instant or over a short period of time. Therefore how would you think I could tap into this (golf clubs - survey - what did you think of the course today - sent after their round) Anyway, apologies on the mishmash of a post, what do you guys think?
