Anybody know how to search for local business websites that get traffic? Any ideas?! This would be a great way to capitalize on mobile optimization market.

I believe you can use Compete for that, check how many monthly hits they get,

Well the obvious way would be to search Google for popular terms. Those businesses in the first few positions are going to be the ones getting majority of the traffic. The problem with doing things that way is that every other offline marketer is doing the same thing and so you end up approaching businesses who have been hounded by every other offline marketer out there.

1.keyword research 2.google the keyword to see sites inline with the keyword 3. check in compete for the traffic (Compete.com result x 2.7 = more close to real site traffic.) that's what I use when conducting due diligent for my acquisitions. |
