Hey guys, Just thought a few of you might like to know about this, as I haven't seen it mentioned here before... Electric Plum - Power for the Mobile Web (scroll down to the bottom of the page for the free version). It seems to do a pretty good job, overall. I've been using Mobilizer for this in the past, but this has a few features that Mobilizer doesn't (such as 'Landscape' mode, and back/forward buttons that work). It doesn't take screenshots like Mobilizer does, but you can use any free screenshot tool for that. Anyways... it seems like a pretty good simulator overall, so you might want to add it to your "mobile" arsenal. |

Sweet. Thanks for posting. I have some members accessing my membership area with iPads, and have never found a good way to test properly to make sure everything is displaying correctly. This could be a big help.

Thanks - this is neat but I was wondering.... Is there a free online mobile testing platform that actually shows how someone's site appears on multiple devices by simulating itself as a mobile device? Just trying to figure this stuff out as a new way to earn income helping offline clients....thanks |

I'm using Electric Plum because it is faster to refresh. If I'm editing my clients mobile site I have to refresh it a lot so this is a perfect tool for me, much better than other simulators.

This ones been around for quite some time. I remember playing with it months ago but I still went back to Mobilizer because I found I didn't need any of those extra fancy features. All I need is to be able to view in regular mode and take a screenshot. Others may need some of those features but for simplicity you just can't beat Mobilizer.

That said, Mobilizer is free and supports a handful of devices, but it's a desktop program. PerfectMobile.com is online and supports several devices, but it's not free. | |

I'm glad I came across this. I'll be needing it soon when I attempt to create mobiles versions of all my sites. Do you know of any coupon codes for the software? There's usually some for most applications so I just thought I'd ask in case you had any handy |

Thanks, good to have. I actually already have one app on the app store, but it isn't doing so well. Perhaps I need to learn more about mobile marketing.
