What is a good UK based SMS provider?

Hi,

I was looking for a good SMS provider, based in the UK if possible. It needs to also provide a developer API.

What would you suggest?

I am currently looking at www.sourcesms.com and they seem like a good choice?

I've used TextMagic | Bulk SMS Marketing, SMS Gateway API, SMS Service Provider before and the service was OK and did what it needed to do. Can't complain.
Although they seem to be more expensive than sourcesms.com but of course I can't really comment on the reliability of sourcesms.com

There's loads of good companies out there. Just pick one which suits your budget best.

We have build a number of applications now using Twillio.

I couldn't fault them. Easy API and awesome support team for when you get stuck.

I decided to go with SourceSMS, they seem to get the job done.

I would recommend BulkSMS.co.uk, they also provide an API and are based in the UK. They offer a really complete portfolio so you might check them out.
