I dont do much mobile marketing but I have to change with the times. I know that it is growing and the technology is getting better. Remember when you would send a short code sms and be added to a subscription and billed automatically by your mobile carrier. For things like ring tones and wallpapers? Is this still the diagram to make money through mobile? Do carriers still allow this? I'm sure it has advanced some to see banner ads and from mobile web to html browsers. But bring me up to speed fast how are people doing it now, just very basic so I get updated. |

Yes, mobile has evolved from that form of sms. Companies still use sms, but they gather their own lists and text out to them. QR codes, and mobile websites are a big deal as well, now that everyone has a smartphone, websites need a mobile presence. In the very near future, nfc, image recognition and mobile payments will be very popular.
