I want to know all the details on how to learn to create my own IOS or android app. Please explain in detail all the requirements to learn the app building. I know C++ and I am willing to learn other programming languages required for it. Also please tell the name of books or websites to learn.

Android = Java + SDK IOS = Objective C + SDK I would suggest to start with one and master that before moving on to the other. There are also many tools to create apps without too much programming knowledge or just based on a website for example. As for a iPhone course I have a link + try-out download for you but I can't send link yet so just drop me an email at steven [at] simlockremoteserver . com and I will send you the course link + try-out download so you can see if it is something for you. |

It is better to use Mono, then you will be able to create apps for ALL platforms!

I think it is really important to figure out what type of app and functionality you need before choosing a building solution. If it is a game it can make a big difference. If you want to build on iOS I would suggest learning Objective C, the builder tools are just a way to write in Obj-C using more of a WYSIWYG sort of way You might check out Lynda.com there are some tuts there for programming, Titanium and Flex |

Definitely figure what you want to build - then figure out the best way to build it..There are many options. As mentioned there are web based options with various levels of automation technical skill requirement, SDK options and u could always outsource.. Good Luck!

As Oz Dude has pointed out you first need to know what app you are trying to build and then determine the best way to do that such as who you wish to market it to..who will be the end user etc etc

If you have in-app traffic (or buy in-app) traffic, I have lots of mobile app campaigns for iOS and Android that could use more traffic. PM me with your email! Thanks, Teresa |

It depends if you are in this for the long haul or not. If you are simply wanting to create a one off app then your time would be much better spent having an outsources create the app for you. I would only bother learning the creation of apps if it's something you are going to start offering as a service.

I am learning myself. so I cant give advice, just repeat what I heard this week. HTML5 used on cross-platform tools to make "hybrid" apps. the "yankee group" put out a free webinar called Mobile Apps and Cloud: The Top 10 Trends in 2012. you can find it and watch the slideshow yourself if you are interested. anyway, here are the notes. (these are notes, so they may not be coherent..lol!) +++++++++++++++
