Just found this cool fancy QR Code generator --> Unitag QR Generator - Create fancy QR Codes for free It creates fancy QR codes with all sorts of graphic features. I used it to make this one which (I know) is a bit bright but it shows the possibilities... There's a premium subscription that costs over $100 a year (ouch) but it does allow hi-def codes (for printing on larger prints), tracking, batch loads...etc I have no affiliation with this website - just sharing because I think it will be cool and can help you add some value to your service. Here's some handy tips about QR codes from their website... Colors Contrast between light and dark areas must be strong enough – a ratio greater than 4:1. NB: some readers cannot decode inverted (white on black) QR codes. Quietzone The quietzone is an important area surrounding the QR code. It makes the QR Code more readable, and is sometimes crucial. Its size is automatically calculated by the generator. Size We offer a full range of sizes. The size we recommend depends on the expected reading distance eg: 3cm x 3cm for reading from 10cm (an A4 document...) 33cm x 33cm for reading from 3m (an A3 poster...) Redundancy The redundancy in a QR code is also its strength. There are 4 levels of redundancy : L,M,H and Q . The higher the level, the more resistant the QR code is to damage (fading, logo overlay etc.). A lower level of redundancy makes the QR code smaller and more readable. Logo overlay Overlaying a logo might make the QR code unreadable – please check it still works using your own reader (on your smartphone...). |
