Im using instagram to promote my website ans it's going really well, I'm getting tons of mobile traffic. It's well worth trying.

Instagram can bring your business through social media. You can capture images, upload to the social network and get business from there via social media marketing.

How are you doing that? There is no way of putting a link on a picture, you can just put a link on the profile but I can´t imagine that this really drives traffic or what do you think?

You should have an Instagram account.You need to properly manage it ,proper post and make as maximum connection you can do.

It is only really good for mobile traffic, however I do use it on a few of my Blogs. It is not simple but quite easy to get a lot of followers on Instagram, just wish they had a web platform (do that have one in case I've missed it?)

Instagram is the next big social media platform. It's insane what kind of audience you can build and potentially market to. I personally have had incredible amounts of success with it, and of course - my software.

Unfortunately they don't have one yet - tried signing up from my laptop the other day. Was kind of shocked that there's no online component.

They probably won't be getting one any time soon either considering they were purchased by facebook.

Yes they do. Although they are not official, there are plenty of webviewers such as webstagram, statigram etc.

Instagram is good to use with a "total" social media marketing campaign. It's like pinterest and flickr. Great for branding and getting attention.

That's how it is good for business.

I love instagram. I use it everyday in my personal life and shortly for the business I work for. All of my friends are glued to it daily and most prefer it over Facebook.

Facebook bought Instagram for almost 3 billion. Customer acquisition - they do not make any money... yet.

Good for branding on mobile. It works similar to Twitter, use the hash tag for you keywords under the image for marketing and viral opportunities. #mobilemarketing #warriorforum #tampadentist -- etc.

Instagram also uses foursquare: you can use the geo-location to add to your image.

They are both about he same. but Pintertest you can add URL's and Instagram is mainly mobile.

Too soon to tell imo. But, they are both free so why not?

I use instagram for business and have been really enjoying it. i haven't been able to associate it with direct ROI yet but like many social channels, it has other benefits. it allows me to be creative, visual, and engage with consumers and users that may benefit from my business. i think it's a good first step to be able to connect with people using #keywords that are associated with your company. I now need to focus on the big picture. How do this make $?
