.mobi domains taking longer to get indexed?

Hi,

Although I am a mobile web developer, I am not a big fan of .mobi domains but from time to time I create websites on .mobi domains for certain projects. Compared to my other sites with .com domains, .mobi websites seem to take longer to get indexed. A .com site that I do nothing to get it indexed gets indexed in at most three days, whereas a .mobi site takes more than five days to get indexed even with pinging and bookmarking to get it indexed fast.

Did you observe the same thing with .mobi domains? Or maybe it is just me.

Yes I was also thinking about that, seems like .mobi domains are processed by different google bots so this might be the reason.

Yes, my mobi sites seem to take longer and I don't see to many mobi sites showing up in google search with the little telephone icon.

Got mine indexed within 1 week after having a back link to it.
