Hi! I bought Dan's SMP, including Mobile Lead Finder + Mobile Site Builder. Dan seems a nice guy. His MLF is OK ... good but not great, IMO. But his MSB is much better - except for a few 'glitches'. However, I've contacted him 2 or 3 times since I bought it (2 - 3 weeks ago?) asking for help, with specific questions, and I've only gotten an email from Dan (a week or 10 days ago?) saying that he'd pass my questions on to his programmer and ask him to get back to me. No word, as yet. 1) Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, did he or his support staff ever help you out? 2) Does anyone (who bought &/or used his MSB) know, for instance, how to get the FaceBook icon to display the actual FB page when the icon's tapped? Right now, tapping my FB icon displays only the URL of the FB page I'd like displayed. (And I've got a prospective customer waiting on that.) Thanks, Richard |

Richard, I tried for about 10 minutes to do some background on MSB and the other products. All I could find were outdated reviews and youtube videos. I did finally make it to his homepage where you presumably bought. Could you tell us where and when you bought MSB? |

@Todd Pederson @WillR Sorry - I didn't think to include the URL because the WSO is closed and I figured only other Warriors who'd already bought it would be responding. http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...raining.html#1 Richard |

Richard, I noticed the author of the WSO just posted a free ebook in the WarRoom. It looks like from his posting he may have been on vacation. I would try to give him a PM again. Here is the link to the post http://www.warriorforum.com/war-room...load-free.html |

@Todd - Thanks, but a few nights ago Dan had the same offer up on another thread. He must have started this new one that you refer to, because there were 2 or 3 posts (including mine) on the original thread asking him - as the 1st guy to complain to Dan put it - "Why aren't you supporting your old WSOs, helping people with the products they've bought from you and need help with .. but aren't getting." Or words to that effect. Dan seems to be a nice guy, but that doesn't help those of us who have bought products from him in good faith and received no - zero, zilch, nada - support. I don't see any indication that he's been on vacation, but even if he has, he sent me an email, like I mentioned, presumably before he went on vacation (if in deed he did go) and after I tried contacting his Support people and getting no help, telling me that he'd forward my questions & problems to his "programmer". That was a week or two ago - still no reply. All I'd like - as apparently a number of other Warriors would like, is to get the Support we need to work through questions and problems with his product(s). Failing that, I was hoping that someone who as bought and used his MSB would be able to help me with some of the problems I'm having with MSB. I'm not 'technical' and I'm kind of broke, and I'd like to be able to use a product I paid good money for, to try to make some money with clients - but I can't do that without some help - which, ideally, would come from Dan's staff .. if not from Dan himself. Just sayin'. Richard |

Richard, I am so sorry to here about your problems. I might trying to contact some of the people that bought the WSO. Just look in the sales thread for their Posts. I would hope some of them would have some insight into your technical issues. I do hate it when WSO sellers don't support there products. I wish you nothing but the best!!!! |

I don't want to give up on Dan just yet. like I said, he seems like a nice guy. But like we used to say in NY, back in the day, "That and 50 cents will get you a cup of coffee". He - or his "Support Team/Programmer(s)" - might just come through yet, but I'm not holding my breath. However, I will keep it in mind next time he offers another WSO. As to contacting other Warriors in his (closed) thread: I PM'ed several who appeared to have bought it; all but one didn't reply - understandably .. it's a bother .. I don't blame them .. and it's Dan's responsibility, not theirs - and the one guy who did respond offered to fix the problem for a fee .. but alternatively, I could buy a competing mobile site builder (thru his affili link, I believe). Oh, well. On to the next mobile site builder. L8TR, Richard

Richard, First of all Dan shouldn't be posting free downloads in this forum -- that type of self promotion is NOT allowed here and that's why both of those threads were deleted. I find it funny these guys who never hang out in these sub-forums yet as soon as they release a mobile related product, all of a sudden they come in here and start posting. I don't like that. From what I have seen Dan has his hands in many pies and all very different -- Amazon, Mobile, etc. He's a product creator who jumps from idea to idea and that can often be an issue with getting support for your products. I've seen it happen before. I hope Dan isn't the same... |

Well there you go. In fact I see Dan is coming out with an unrelated IM coaching program in the new week so yes, I would imagine he's on to the next thing. In the product he actually has a video showing how much money he has made from selling WSO's just this year (over half a millions). Take it as you will. Seems more interested in the selling of the products rather than the follow-up support. It's a shame though when you see all these customers not getting the support they paid for. Do these guys not realize you people won't buy from them again. It makes no sense to me. |

Let it be known I don't own Dan's product, I am just going off the comments I have heard from countless other people who purchased the product. Then I saw Dan come into this forum where he never hangs out and post a 'free' report for people to download that was nothing more than a report to get people into his webinar funnel. I just don't like that type of game. If you truly want to help people then do it all the time, not just when you have something to sell.

Dan, Take it from me,,, get all WillR's stuff. Whatever he has,, get it. I had a problem today,, (cause I'm Retarded) and he got back to me asap. And I'm in Cali,, and he's down under. Every single time i have any question, Will seems to magically have every damn answer. He's unstumpable. I think most will agree. I've also bought many products over the years,, and Will has excellent eveything. Even if it is'nt his product, he makes sure it's a damn good one if he promotes it. Thanks for all your help wILL,, I hope this doesn't flood you too much with too many inquiries. I should be a damn affiliate of yours,, but that's how much I believe in your info. You help me,, I will help others with what I learn from You ! Robert X |

WillR - That's just what I did - or tried to do - last night. The problem, as the PP rep explained it to me, is that their policy doesn't allow buyers to open a dispute after 45 days from the date of your purchase! I explained to the rep that some guys drag their feet in answering your questions, getting their programmer(s) to look into the problem, making fixes to the software, etc ... and the next thing you know, 45 days have transpired & you're S.O.L.! So the thing to do is request a refund before his own, 30-day guarantee/refund period expires. The problem with that, of course, is that these guys usually won't honor their guarantee/refund. I agree with WillR, though: *Definitely* talk with PayPal. They're pretty good people to deal with and, in my experience, will help you if they can. They helped me a while ago - to my pleasant surprise - with a digital product (a PLR membership). But this is different: it's a software-tool (which doesn't work as well as advertised) with the promise of Customer Support - especially with software bugs - which many of us, including me, didn't get. The other thing I'd suggest is to - within reason (without getting crazy or (too) confrontational ... and keeping to the spirit of the WF's "best practices") post a question (one time .. don't keep posting and take over the thread) in each of Dan's future WSOs - something like, "I bought an earlier WSO of yours (possibly even inserting the URL of the old WSO?) and when I had problems with it, you & your programmer(s) didn't really help me. Have you improved your Support .. will it be better on this WSO?" Whatever. And personally, I'm going to keep a list of these guys, as well as search for their names on the WF/WSO, before I consider buying from anyone I don't know in the future. Hope this helps. Richard

Holy Mackerel! After making the post, above, I looked into my PayPal account and almost fell over! Dan refunded me my money - all of it .. for the WSO & OTOs!!! So ... in fairness to Dan ... I had to post this & let y'all know. Maybe he's a good guy after all ... and just a little too busy to stay on top of things. I don't think it had to be this hard or take this long, but at least the man refunded me the money. So, thank you for that much, Dan! Moral of the story (for me, anyway): Be persistent and keep it positive, polite. L8TR, Richard |

PS I thought I'd do the right thing & let PayPal know that I got my refund from Dan. In the course of the conversation, the PP rep told me that even though PP doesn't actively process disputes on purchases more than 45 days from the time that you purchased an item, they do keep a record of such disputes nonetheless! That's Huge!! Apparently PP will consider taking some sort of action against a seller who has a history of complaints from buyers, even after 45 days ... possibly even cancelling the merchant's PP account. So ... by all means, talk with PP - even if it's been longer than 45 days since your purchase. BTW, I don't know whether Dan just decided to (finally) do the right thing by me, or whether he acted in response to PayPal notifying him that I had filed a dispute against his PP account. Either way, I'm glad this hassle is over with! Dang!! Richard |

All's well that ends well, right? It seems the refund was only given when you got Paypal into the mix. Not sure if that's a coincidence or not? |

Dan may be a nice guy but his system are crap he launches it for 30 or so days locks the threads promised more "updates" etc etc and then moves on to a new WSO Yes I posted in the thread you talk about asking him some question and making a few points folks should know about I am 99% sure that is one of the reason the thread was removed ... I mean you cah have someone saying Dan what the he!!your support sucks in a thread you are trying to get more JV's now can we ? He offered to refund my money ...as I told him its not the money (19.00) if the time invested waiting for him to delivery and the broken promises of better quality to come "soon" that never did in two of his WSO I bought ( Yes I was stupid I trusted him again) there are a few good mobiles sites here Will's is SUPER ..support great Then there are the 30 days wonders... You wonder after the 30 day refund period expires who to find any help, support. or the bug fixes they rushed to launch. There are about a dozen or so on these forums if they offer a product they stand behind it for a long time Will , Russ, Ken Michaels to name a few I trust, then there are the Dan's... |

regardless of how hard they try. Ken and I really appreciate it. Also, as far as WillR goes, we have a few hundred customers that are also WillR's customers, and they are ALWAYS saying he is top notch, and so are his products. In the year or so we have been on this board, i have not heard one bad thing about him... that is pretty damn impressive considering the amount of product he sells.

This has taken on a lifw of it's own! Seems to have struck a nerve, if not in RE: Dan Lew(is), then with the kind of experience I had (that other Warriors experienced with other vendors). To give you a (brief) idea of my problems: I was able to create an OK-looking mobile site, but several of the functions - such as the FB icon/function - didn't work. For instance, when you tapped on the FB icon, rather than transfer you to the client's FB page, it would just display the URL to their FB page. I asked for Support several times and got no real help. Finally, Dan replied personally, saying that he would direct my email's worth of questions to his programmer and he'd get back to me with answers or solutions. That never happened. Nor did Dan ever reply to my several follow-up emails to him, asking him to follow up on this for me. And that was over a period of about 2 months. I gradually got fed up and after asking for and not getting a refund, forced his hand by complaining to PayPal. (Apparently, while PP will not "force" the vendor to resolve a complaint by a buyer after 45 days from the date of purchase, they will make note (in his PP account records) of complaints made after 45 days. With enough such complaints, the might shut him down, and now vendor wants that. And for the sake of perspective: for all I know, there were many customers who were happy with Dan & his software. All I know was I needed his help and never got it. And there are by now several other good software-tools. which happen to offer good Support. So why deal with the hassle? See my next post RE: "good guys" for mobile *and* support. Hope this helps. Richard

I don't know JohnDavid, but if he's mentioned in the same breath as WillR, Ken & Rick, I'd seriously consider him and his products. However, I can highly recommend Ken and Rick's Mobile Renegade. Awesome mobile-data gathering-promotional tool. http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...e-reviews.html (Not an affiliate link). And these guys went out of their way to help me out. Can't say enough about them. Also, while I have not (yet) bought WillR's mobile WSO, I have not only read very good things about him and his mobile WSO (and support), but I have also been impressed with 1 or 2 other products I *have* bought from him .. as well as with his willingness to communicate with me even when there was no purchase forthcoming on my part. Also, I did purchase - but didn't get that far with - Quentin Brown's course in building mobile sites for yourself. Excellent course. Takes a little bit longer to learn how to do it on your own (especially for non-techies like me), but not much longer than the time it takes ot learn how to use some of these software tools. Hope this helps. Richard |

The FTC? Won't do you much good as Dan's from Australia, I'm pretty sure. The best way to deal with this guy is not to buy anything from him in the future. And wouldn't it be a shame if people commented on his WSO threads in the future about the way he ripped people off on this WSO. Just sayin'. One word for you, Danny boy: "Karma". Richard |

Maybe the Warrior Forum should stop allowing these people from selling their WSO's in the future. I, also, am getting tired of buying WSO's and find out weeks or months later that they are no longer supported and that I can't even access the products on Warrior plus or JVZoo anymore. This really isn't right. |

Most people I deal with will just refund unconditionally to avoid the hassles. Also, PP monitors excessive disputes/chargebacks by 'serial refunders' and will close their accounts as well.

I bought a LinkedIn product directly from Dan Lew. I had it on my dusty old hard drive for two weeks before I could dig into it. It didn't work. When I tried to get answers, 100% of the different support URLs he supplied had vaporized...disappeared...and Dan was nowhere to be found. I've shared my experience on as many forums as I could. My opinion is he's a scammer. Hit and run and hide. Dan Lew is one of the two worst vendors I've run into over the last three years. My advice is - don't buy from him in the first place (I see he's out with another offer). The very great odds are you will get screwed.
