Talked to friend about Mobile Affiliate. Says that some poeple are bawling but others losing food to breed their kids because is super tough waters with torrential traffic that can be eaten at the drop of a hat. I DONT WANT THIS TO HAPPEN TO ME. Please: 1) If you give it a try, make sure it's worth it 2) To take that first step, you need confimation from a family member that you won't make them broke 3) Make sure you diversify your traffic sources so risk isn't so heavy on Mobile. Always consider the alternative. Jake |

Like in any business - experience will guide you and either make you or break you. The best thing for all of us to do, something we quite often lose sight of, is not to fall for all the hype out there. There is too much of it, and this clouds our judgement all too often. This is a business and I am still learning the right way to form it, and each day is a challenge but I'm enjoying it also. And yes, of course don't gamble with your responsibilities. That goes with anything that you do. Too many ways to fall down out there. |

All kidding aside, this i don't get "2) To take that first step, you need confimation from a family member that you won't make them broke" Do you know that friends and family are usually the naysayers... They tend to hold you back more then any other issue. Why? ... Because they don't know how to be successful. They don't like the risk. They don't understand the risk vrs reward. They assume they are smarter then you, and generally feel like you are going to mess things up. and on and on ... You don't want or need confirmation. You need to ignore everybody and work your ass off, and prove them all wrong. If you feel you need to have confirmation from anyone that your making the proper decision... then business may not be for you.

Mobile industry is the future of the industry. US is having more than half of the people using a smartphone and there are many other emerging markets of mobile phone worldwide. There is enormous amount of work and capital in mobile industry where almost every business wants to make their presence over mobile platforms. If someone is not making bread from it then they are either having weak strategy of executing them in wrong manner. Do a thorough research of the work you are in, make a nice strategy and give your best in executing them, you will definitely make a lot from mobile industry.

I have no idea what the OP is saying in any of his posts. But I definitely agree with Ken. I can show my relatives and friends a plethora of information and proof that this model (website and mobile marketing) works to make money, but they don't care. They assume that if anyone could just open a business and make money, everybody would be doing it. How wrong that psychology is is ridiculous. |

Well i don't think you need to promise anybody you won't make them broke. Working like there's no tomorrow with the focus needed can guide you. Experience is the best teacher, everyday is a challenge and that means you learn from your past business mistakes.
