Mobile website user interface
Share on:
fb share twitter share gplus share more share

Just toying with an idea at the minute, and would like to know what sort of budget I would be looking at to get it off the ground.

How much would it cost to build a user interface that could edit a mobile website like this? Sale Print FX

Would need it be easy to use for the user just like them online website builders. upload picture then enter the text.

Would also need the user to select their own ending of the url.

so it would be www.mysite.com

The user would log in and select www.mysite.com/companyname

They would then have the template file on that url that only they would have access to.

Maybe look into creating a Wordpress mobile template which would provide an easy to use CMS. Then a user would create a page with their ending URL.

(Just throwing out some ideas. Cost might be a few hundred for a custom template and then another few hundred to setup WP they way you want it.)

Have a look at Responsive | ThemeForest

Resonsive/mobile themes for Wordpress. Setup Wordpress as multisite and users have their own sub-domain, but you can also set them up with their own domain name.

Don't think anyone has understood me so far?

I want a website where the user can log in and create a mobile website on a subdomain.

The average person having no web design skills will need a easy to use, user interface to edit the mobile template.

I'm not after doing this on the cheap I would like to know the cost of making it, if anyone has a rough idea??

Could you clarify your questions.

Do you want to build a online mobile Website builder system and host it?
Or you you are looking for a software or an online service to build a mobile Website similar to the example "Sale Print FX"?

Google Maps Contact Extractor, a google maps scraper software (Scrape google places data)
Yellow Pages Scraper software an easy to use Yellow pages scraper software
Yelp Data Scraper software, extract data from yelp website.
Management-Ware Extract Anywhere, Website data extractor software, create your scraper to extract data from almost any website. Door to door CRM software.

If I'm not mistaken, that's one of WillR templates, and I'd LOVE an easy web based solution to be able to edit his or other templates I own.

I wouldn't think it'd be too complicated to create something to allow wysiwyg editing of mobile sites like this, but a programmer I am not, so I couldn't tell you what time or costs would be involved. Maybe take that idea over to odesk or elance and see what kinds of bids you'd get for a project like that?

I'd definitely be interested in buying something like this if you, Will or someone else ever develops it.

Steve

Hi all,

Thought I would chime in on this thread and share my platform with you. It offers all the features and more of what is being discussed. If you are looking to sell mobile sites to your clients, I can offer fellow warriors wholesale account pricing and you can mark up your services as you see fit. I also offer white label branding for a set monthly fee. If seriously interested, I can set up a trial account. I can also brand marketing collateral as well.

Contact me through the site.

Continued success, Dino

This is a pretty involved project to do if you want to do it well. Consider that the larger operators allow people to setup mobile sites on subdomains - then they lock-them-in with hosting, etc..

The best way to start on this is to see if you can find others that are already doing this type of thing to get some ideas on the exact functionality you want to provide.

Next thing is to create some mockup screens - I find Balsamiq mockups software to be the best for this. Understand that this would be a first draft as you will need advice from a programmer as to the best screen UI to use based on what you are trying to achieve.

From that you should be able to arrive at a ballpark figure re development and marketing launch costings. - and then comes the development

Dino, just curious, but did you buy access to the same icons the GoMobi folks use Take a Tour | Create Mobile websites in Minutes - goMobi - goMobi or are you simply a reseller or whitelabel of their service?

Either way, I don't think this is really the answer to what was originally asked here and it all seems a bit too self promotional to me.
