Global SMS

Hi everyone!

Long time lurker, first time poster.

I searched around the existing posts to see if someone has already answered this but I couldn't find the specifics I was looking for.

I have a situation I was hoping someone here can help me with. This is my situation:

I like the idea of SMS Marketing and my technical background makes this a good fit for me. I'm constantly seeing a huge variety of things come to me by post card (like dr visit reminders, etc.) that I think SMS would be good for.

To facilitate this, I established an LLC and gathered a core group of talent (web devloper, database admin, etc.) to help facilitate any new design/development tasks that may come my way and was intending to use AvidMobile and/or Lime Cellular to address my SMS needs.

I then began marketing my service and I have a rather large company that appears to be interested. Their size presents some challenges for which I hope you guys can be of assistance!

Their operations and customer base is global delivering service to the following countries (in no particular order): United States, Indonesia, Poland, Pakistan, China, Phillipines, Russia, Portugal, Nigeria, United Kingdom, Ukraine, India, Turkey, Germany, Italy, Ghana, Canada, Spain, Brazil, Netherlands, Hungary, France, Australia and Bangladesh.

Their desire to use SMS is in large part based on providing a very fast (time sensitive) notification where the volume could be anywhere between 500K and 1 Million messages a month.

The intent (so far) would be to tier the delivery in to 75-100K increments with a 5 minute delay between batches until everyone was notified.
In my mind, this level of volume and speed rules out long codes (but please correct me if I'm wrong).

So my question is: Do you know of an SMS provider that offers a white label service that can provide service to the desired countries in the bulk described in the speed described? Neither Avid nor Lime Cellular seem to have the SMS reach to make this happen (again, please correct me if I'm wrong).

This stands to be a great opportunity to launch my business but I fear I may have bitten off more than I can chew with this particular client! Any comments or assistance you all can provide would be most appreciated. Thank you!

Kevin
