Are Android tablets really denting Apple's market share or is the market just growing at such a pace there is plenty of room for Android's to keep growing along with Apple? I suspect the market has plenty of room for growth but am I wrong? |

Look for massive growth in the tablet markets, but don't forget the Kindles and cheaper knock off devices flooding the market as well. IM's need to be sure they have a proper mobile and tablet strategy in place to be successful in the new mobile age.

Windows 8 is also shaking up the mix now Gartner predict that tablet sales will double in the next 3 years, at least for Android but you can see there is huge growth to come. Gartner Says Worldwide Media Tablets Sales to Reach 119 Million Units in 2012 | |

I'll never understand tablets, I have one but it is now a glorified alarm clock. They are terrible for data input and much less efficient swiping your finger on a larger touch screen vs. a regular touch pad on a laptop. Especially with laptops being so light and thin these days. Are all these buyers just consumers of web reading? The new convertible laptops are the solution for my next replacement. Best of both worlds.
