I thought in order to start a mobile marketing business I just need find a developer where I can purchase the White Label reseller package and start using their mobile site creation as well as their SMS services. I've compared prices and nobody offers anything affordable. There seems to be a monthly fee associated with every program. On top of that, they are charging per txt message, keywords, per clients site, etc. There are so many additional fees that I have to pay, I don't think I would be able to pass the cost on to the client. Unless I am charging thousands for a mobile site, there is really no way to make substantial profit. Does anybody else have experience and insight on this? |

You can buy a template on here I've seen a few WSO's with this or make your own. Then just build the sites in your favorite editor and upload them. No monthly fee's needed.

There are lots of SMS service suppliers starting at 1c per message. Twilio seem popular these days I would avoid 'white label' site builders and just gather some standard templates and get those customised as needed. |

I really hate to plug here, but im the founder of a mobile platform and we have white label program that is .... extremely affordable haha. We saw this same issue and decided to offer something affordable. Just saying... Our platform is pay as you go... kind of like a pre-paid cellphone. So you buy pageviews in bulk and never worry about a monthly bill.... just a suggestion. Dont usually push my company unless its a WSO, but in this case, it seems like you've almost exhausted all resources... maybe check it out? Might as well. AGAIN.... not trying to spam, just saying its worth checking out if you're researching. |

I thought the same way you did before starting my company. After learning how business owners operate and what they spend money on, It blew my mind. After getting my confidence and sales up, I started charging what I should have been. Don't be scared to move these costs to your clients while making profit. You are acting as a great intermediate and getting them setup with mobile. I hope you find what you're looking for and start making some money!

Is it really expensive though? Honestly purchasing a platform or white label reseller program for mobile marketing is no different from starting your own independent business. Yes there will be start up costs, but what new business doesn't have this as a barrier to entry? You gotta have some skin in the game, and mobile marketing when done right is a sure bet!

You are absolutely true, these platforms are too expensive to promote your website.

Moreover mobile marketing (especially a complete solution that includes mobile sites, SMS marketing, Search Engine Marketing and on-land advertisement with QR codes) can be very powerful for your customers while being quite affordable for you. Mobile marketing is so young that it is still more important to come up with smart and useful ideas than spending big bucks!
