Buzzcity Traffic Really Converting ?

Hi all,

Is buzzcity traffic really converting for you ?

I have spent around 50$ testing various offers in return just got 2.6$ (2 conversion). But it seem they are sending some fake traffic(using bots) this is the reason why they allow 0.01 cent per click.

Please share your experience with buzzcity.

I have purchased traffic for US,UK,AU,ZA,FR and got same results. I tested their traffic with various offers from 2-3 affiliate networks.

You can any experience ? or you just asking ?

I work with a lot of media buyers that are heavy BuzzCity users. They are quite satisfied I must add.

Aniket, I kinda felt the same way... I'm not up to $50 in spending, currently on $25, but I've only gotten one conversation myself. Of course, I attributed this to direct linking, but now I've got a nice mobile landing page in page in place (to capture emails then direct to a CPA offer), so we'll see how well that works.

I'm currently only targeting US (@ 0.01/ click) with only iPhones and Androids, so my traffic is really slow, but it makes $20 seem like a lot more when you're only spending a couple dollars a day to test a campaign.

Direct linking offers are not converting well with buzzcity traffic. Building email list will be good idea with this offer

App installs on Buzzcity are good.

If you really want to profit from mobile WAP campaigns, get your account upgraded so you can custom target the IP Ranges of the Carrier/Operators in the corresponding country.

Cheap inventory, simple Interface, quite encouraging operating speed.
The inventory in buzzcity is of average quality and is suitable for low payout offers.

You will never know if anything is going to convert with $50 testing....

You need to set up your campaign's and tracking and you need to test same offer from different networks and test landing pages and banners ..

I would suggest testing 5 to 10 banners for each offer and 2 different landers to try to nail down the device and carrier along with banner and lander that is converting the best..

But to do this you are going to need to let it run and run to collect date then after 100 clicks to each you will have your data to optimize..

The key is to set it up to test them all with the same amount of clicks to each...
banners , lander and offers that is...

$50 just is not going to do it these days ..
You forget the biggest factor ..
Competition ....

Because once you do find the one that is working some knuckle head comes and jumps on your spot and drives your bid price up and you are going to need a nice size budget to drive him off.... Otherwise you both lose...

But I have just started experimenting with Buzzcity and doing quite well. Getting almost 100% ROI. But not using any 3 party tracking software. I know I could improve my ROI if I could optimize my devices.

What is the best (value for money) tracking software to use?

here is the honest grilling session i have done with buzzcity.
(Before you start, please use Chrome don't use firefox )
#1. Use for dating offer for france, usa, uk, canada --- all bogus traffic
#2. Use for Bizops offer for tier 1 country --- all bogus traffic
#3. Use for health niche for tier 1 country -- all bogus traffic
#4. Try the tier 2 country (india) -- got 2 conversion from 980 clicks
can you believe it, 80% of all the traffic they send is bogus, and rest 20% is genuine which will convert if you use your landing page.
so final verdict : AVOID BUZZCITY , they are dead man boat.

I had similar results as yours.

My advice is not to use paid campaigns of such kind.

Free traffic is better

I did a test this weekend on BC for UK mobile users only. Android, BlackBerry and iPhone. Paid $20, got 83 subscribers no conversions.

I used a text message first, then opt-in and last an email sent to give the link for the video. No conversions. The problem may come from the last page (with video) not mobile friendly I asked subsribers to watch rather from a laptop or desktop.

Any insights or ideas?

Buzzcity is a great traffic source for asian countries. I wouldn't recommend buying tier 1 countries traffic from BC.

I got the best results in Asian countries

In fact all the subscribers were from Iceland (Reykjavik), USA (Assumption School in Seattle) and Norway (Oslo). Strange when you’re buyibg UK traffic.

Anyway, maybe I'll try asian traffic.

BC is quite hard core to get profitable and will generally take more investment in gathering data than many other traffic sources IMHO. Back in 2010, it was easy to be profitable on BC but today you must track everything and apply the IP address filters and publisher filters to get the advantage.

I tested the hell out of buzzcity wishing the whole time it would be real traffic but my results were the exact same. Their traffic is 99% pure horseshit automated bots.
