I see mobile web building becoming popular and have heard of sms campaigns not that I really understand exactly what they are. Anyone care to explain? But apart from that, I haven't much idea what types of income streams there are. How do you make an income from mobile marketing? |

I don't use mobile marketing so I am sorry that I can't help you. If you join the War Room, you may find people there to help. |

Hi there that's a very good question. There are a couple of interesting posts on the forum about this, such as http://www.warriorforum.com/mobile-m...ml#post5980341 or http://www.warriorforum.com/mobile-m...ml#post7991412 In general, the idea is to target small and medium local business providing them a complete mobile marketing strategy that delivers - that is, brings them more visitors, customers, business. These are usually the steps for getting real results:

Interestingly there are a lot of "build your own mobile site for free" sites popping up these days. They could help a lot when people find that this seemingly money saving option wont really help their business. Silvio makes some great points but if you target those who have gone for the free site option first their sites will undoubtedly need redesigning. Another revenue stream for you to tap into. |

The fact is that people use mobile differently to a laptop or desktop machine so mobile provides the opportunity to design differently based on these requirements.

Mobile websites is the door opener for mobile marketing. SMS and QR are a great value add including native apps if your clients want to go down that road. There are multiple revenue stream that you can tap into as a local consultant. |

You can do advertising campaigns just to get the word out about your business. You can do contests/prizes. You can make your sites/apps interactive with the person's location say direct them towards a local store, and provide coupons or something. The point is that its more personal and your marketing can be location based. This can benefit your business or you can help out other local businesses. |
