Mobile Display Tracking?

Hi,

For mobile display campaigns how would I implement tracking to be able to see which banner is performing the best? I would want to get information such as device, carrier, etc. I am a complete novice when it comes to tracking so I apologize if im not using the correct terminology but if someone could help explain how it works id appreciate it. I need to know how to implement it and then how to access the data to be able to optimize my display campaigns.
