Heyo fellow Warriors. I'm thinking of starting a buisness to build mobile compatible websites for smaller buisness, thing is I don't have experience nor knowledge in programming websites etc. But I'm confident in sales and also I know there is a need for mobilesites. My costumer's already has a website for PC/MAC etc but not any mobile comaptible site .. so I'm looking for the best software which I can use to convert the current webpage they have. I want the abillity to change the layout and also add things like a button you can press so you instantly call a phonenumer that is on the page. So my question is, which is the best software for converting to mobilesites? I'm looking for free software but paying for one is ok as well aslong it's a good software. |

There's loads of products on the Warrior Special Offers Forum, some really good even for newbies. Squeezemobi have loads of templates or mobilemonkey, and loads of others, depends if you're working in a particular niche. If you use wordpress you might be able to use a responsive plugin to automatically optimise the website for mobile devices. Otherwise I'm not sure if there is really software to "convert" a regular website. More of a case of you trying to match the current one. I may be wrong about that, but hope that helps. |

There are all kinds of mobile web site builders that you can use. No real technical skills are needed for most of them....Lots have been sold on this forum as well....just do a search

Hey if you want a simple solution, check out Dudamobile. They would be perfect for someone new and just breaking in. Let me know how it goes, I don't use them (I use a developer) but they have a pretty sick platform. |

Duda I think is not bad, but I would never go with a system where I have to pay every month. I use three systems, and for me the best is jumpmobi.com. The run free webinars AND they even pick up the phone!

"WillR" has a terrific WSO called "Minute Mockup Mobile Sites"! You could do a Search for "WillR" or....Here's the link; http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...-000-sold.html Don Alm |

WillR's WSO that midasman09 posted or JumpMobi. I've done a couple sites with duda. Do not recommend. They have it set up where it's supposed to be dynamic, meaning when you update the main site the update will flow through to the mobile site, but the process is very buggy. In my experience, updating the main site does not flow through correctly and often messes things up. This thread has some other helpful comments about duda: http://www.warriorforum.com/mobile-m...d-compete.html Some people love it and you might turn out to be one of them, but just sharing my input. |

If you haven't built a mobile site before, even using the WSOs, it can be time consuming, if you want to hit the ground running, just PM me and I will try to help you out. That way you can get your first client without having to buy the software until you are in profit! We have most of WSO's including WIllRs product and Jumpmobi, our mobile websites are loved by our clients. Dexter |

Holla. Thank you all for your help and idéas. I've tried out some templates/builders etc. Sure it does consume time but I also need to understand my product better if im going to be able to sell it. Right now I'm doing my first job for a client, not charging too much though because I'm just doing it for the knowledge/experience right now. But I do have more clients ahead as well. But I need to develop a distinct product first .. need to know what kind of different deals I'm going to offer, what features I can upsell etc. Understanding the overall, so I can setup a good strategy as I'm new in this area. So I do have a few more new questions for the experienced ones out there ^o) 1. For clients that doesn't have any webpage therefor no host. Do you guys usually recommend a hosting service or do you offer them hosting to gain additional hosting fee's? 2. In this case my client does already have a host, how do you guys work things out. Do you have to send the files to the client so he can upload it by himself or do they give you access so you can do it yourself? 3. Also once I sold some websites, and some of my clients need to update their newsfeed or otherwise. So if I want my clients to be able to make updates themselves (login feature on my main website from there they can make changes/put in news etc). Is this called CMS or smth? Does this system work with sitebuilders/templates etc? Which systems suits for me? - this is not really important right now but later it eventually will be. PS. Dexter, Adrian John etc .. there is a probability you'll hear from me soon. |

2) with my clients either I send them the mobile website files and redirection scripts along with simple instruction on how to install it, either I do it if they give me their ftp/cpanel/WP admin login info to set it up. 3) I would never allow clients to do updates by themselves as they often broke the website and if you don't have an backup you will have to fix it and it takes time.I would charge them a small fee depending on the complexity of the update or do it for free if it takes no more than few minutes. With templates you have to add your own custom cms, i don't know how is it with builders but often they have their own branding in the admin area and I don't recommend you to let clients in to see what builder you are using. My designs are white label, no branding at all and I often do the updates for free within 24h top if not complex. I a haven't received many requests for cms but sometimes you got to give what the clients wants even if I don;t recommend it. Good Luck | |

Hey, Try Dudamobile. They get a good platform and reasonable prices. Moreover you can become affiliate there and get hosting from them just for $6/month. So you can offer hosting for your customers too. |
