Reach 100,000 of my city's phone numbers

Hey folks, I recently built a list of 100,000 mobile phone numbers in my city. Don't ask me how I did it, it was damn hard work.

I am Australian, the city is Melbourne. Now I want to sell messages to the list, how much should I sell SMS blasts to the list for?

P.S. All the numbers belong to real people who voluntarily opted in, in exchange for entering a $500 prize draw.

P.P.S. Messages cost me about 4 cents, so to market to all of them it would cost $4000 per broadcast.

Not sure what your doing..but what works is ...now you go to business owners like a pizza shop and tell them you have 100,000 people interested in receiving deals from local businesses like yours. Charge him $150-$200 for a blast out to say 1,000 to 2,000 of your members. Coupon rates are anywhere from .05 to 20% redemption depending on the deal. so if there were 10% redeemed, that means the owner got 100 to 200 people in his business. Even if the business owner only cleared $5 profit, that would mean he made $500 to $1,000 for a cost of $150 to $200 that you charged him!!! repeat to other businesses!

I want to sell Advertisements to the list of numbers, also known as "marketing blasts", in this case "SMS broadcasts".

unless those people opted in for that select purpose, you can fine yourself in BIG TROUBLE!

I think you have to stick to topic when you get them to opt in. If you obtained the list by offering a $500 contest, all you can do to market to them is contests. Unless you said enter this contest to receive daily deals. Then all you would be able to do is offer daily deals.
