With the screen sizes of some phones getting bigger and bigger, I don't know if redirects based on screen sizes is the proper way to setup a mobile redirect anymore. Do you guys agree? If this is the case, what are our other options? |

Yes, it's true. Screen size detection is getting less reliable nowadays. User agent detection is probably the most reliable method for redirection these days. |

Yes, screen-size redirects aren't worth much anymore. Detecting the visitor's user-agent, i.e. web browser, with a PHP script is the way to go.

I agree with Will.I use user agent detection for some time now.Screen resolution evolved a lot lately and you can't count on it anymore.

Does anyone know if something like this is created as a wordpress plugin...but which also allows you to select the dedicated mobile page you want the user redirected to? Thanks for any help/suggestions. |
